As a Partnership Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving DPW’s global partnerships, owning and growing a portfolio across Tier 1 (Key Accounts), Tier 2 (Accounts), and Tier 3 (startups and scaleups). This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on new business: you are first and foremost responsible for generating new partnerships across all segments, while also expanding and maximising value within existing accounts.
You will proactively build pipeline through targeted outbound, network-driven outreach, and ecosystem engagement, while identifying upsell and expansion opportunities within your portfolio. Working closely with marketing and event teams, you’ll create long-term, high-impact partnerships. From first outreach to post-event growth, you own the full partner lifecycle with a clear focus on revenue generation and account expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively source, qualify, and close new partners across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 segments, with a strong focus on outbound-driven new business.
Own and grow an existing portfolio of partners by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and long-term partnership opportunities.
Lead intro and discovery conversations using a consultative, value-first approach.
Build tailored partnership proposals aligned with partner objectives and DPW’s ecosystem.
Own the full sales cycle for most opportunities and collaborate with senior commercial leads on larger, strategic deals.
Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking in HubSpot CRM.
Leverage AI and modern sales tools to increase outreach efficiency, scale, and personalization.
Build and nurture long-term partner relationships beyond the initial deal.
Share market insights and partner feedback with events and content teams to continuously improve our proposition.
About you
Strong hunter mindset with a proven ability to generate your own pipeline, complemented by the ability to grow existing accounts.
Experience in partnerships, sponsorship, or exhibition sales, ideally within startup, scaleup, or tech ecosystems.
Demonstrated track record of closing deals and consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership and accountability.
Strong consultative selling skills—you understand partner needs and translate them into high-value solutions.
Data-driven and able to use insights to optimise performance and prioritise effectively.
Clear, confident communicator who collaborates effectively across marketing, events, and commercial teams.
Proficient with HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
Tech-savvy and excited to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and personalisation.
Ambitious, proactive, and team-oriented.
