We're on the lookout for an exceptional Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team. You'll be spearheading the commercial efforts across all our events for our portfolio of existing and new clients which includes well-known global brands as well as the up-and-coming startups and scaleups in our industry.
Beyond managing existing clients relationships, you'll also be responsible for developing relationships with new businesses that haven't yet partnered with us. We empower you with weekly leads, providing you with great opportunities to convert these prospects into lasting partners and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development: Proactively select, identify, and nurture relationships with companies, forging strategic partnerships for global events.
Contribution to Expansion Strategy: Collaborate with DPW's leadership team to contribute to the development and execution of the global event expansion strategy.
New Partner Acquisition and Pipeline Management: Focus on new partner acquisition strategies, managing the pipeline development, and maintaining an up-to-date database of partner prospects in HubSpot.
Sales Optimization: Implement up-selling, cross-selling, and re-booking strategies with existing sponsors to maximise revenue opportunities.
Business Planning and Target Achievement: Develop and execute business plans for meeting monthly revenue targets and ensuring event and product profitability, including forecasting future performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and other business functions.
Event Attendance and Client Management: Attend global events across Europe and the US to manage client accounts onsite, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.
Performance Reporting and Analysis: Regularly analyse and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve set targets and objectives.
About you
Robust Sales Experience: Strong background in inside and face-to-face sponsorship or exhibition sales, demonstrating the ability to engage and close deals effectively.
Achieving Sales Targets: Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas consistently, showcasing exceptional sales performance.
Proactive Lead Generation: Hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to self-generate leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, and networking.
Data Analysis and Performance Interpretation: Ability to analyse, interpret, and understand sales performance data to inform strategies and decision-making.
Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Experience working in high-paced and dynamic settings, such as startups or scaleups, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and negotiation. And with the ability to work collaboratively across the team. This person will need to work with the events and marketing team.
CRM Proficiency: Basic competency in HubSpot or similar CRM tools, which is beneficial for managing client interactions and sales processes.
AI Tools Interest and Experience: A strong interest in and foundational experience with AI tools, aligning with modern sales strategies and technological advancements.
