As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be on the frontline of DPW’s sponsorship growth, identifying, engaging, and closing new startup and scaleup partners for our global events. You’ll drive high-impact outbound outreach through digital channels, video, and calls, and work closely with our marketing and events teams to deliver a world-class partner experience from the first pitch to post-event follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Source, qualify, and engage Tier 3/startup sponsors through targeted outbound outreach.
Lead intro and discovery calls using our value-first sales playbook.
Support proposal development and hand off larger opportunities to senior commercial leads when needed.
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in HubSpot CRM.
Leverage AI and modern sales tools to improve outreach efficiency and personalization.
Share market insights and partner feedback with the events and content teams to inform future strategy.
About you
Hunter mindset with experience generating your own leads.
Strong background in sponsorship or exhibition sales with a track record of closing deals.
Consistently exceed sales targets and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Data-driven and comfortable analysing performance to refine your approach.
Clear, confident communicator who works well with marketing and events teams.
Proficient with HubSpot or similar CRMs.
Tech-savvy and excited to use AI tools to boost efficiency and personalisation.
Ambitious, energetic, and team-oriented.
